IBM SPSS Statistics is easy to use, provides analysis automation, comprehensive statistical tools, integration with open source, and help at your fingertips.
To improve your experience using IBM SPSS Statistics, the Version 1 SPSS experts have created various Tech Tips. This Tech Tip looks at quickly exporting output in IBM SPSS Statistics.
Once you run your output in SPSS, you will want to export it. You don’t need to copy your work and move it to another document. Copying and pasting is time-consuming and could create errors and missing results. IBM SPSS Statistics allows you to export your output directly to multiple formats such as Word and PDF. Statistics export is beneficial as you will want to share your work with other members of your organisation who may not have SPSS.
You will want to determine what parts of your work you want to export. If you want to export all of your output, select the Output level at the top of the outline pane to highlight all of your work. Once your output is highlighted, you can right-click and choose Export. Selecting Export brings up the Export Output dialog box. In the Document Type section, you can use the drop-down menu to select the export document type. You can export to Excel, HTML, PowerPoint, Text, and Word. Once you have chosen the Document Type, select the Browse button to select the location to export your output. Provide a document name and click Save. You can also highlight portions of your output to export. Select the parts of your work to export in the outline pane so that they are highlighted. You can then right-click and Export.
