Academic Licensing Options for Teaching Applications and Studying

  • Site License

    Version 1 is the sole UK and Ireland reseller for SPSS Academic Site Licenses. With an SPSS academic site license, an annual fee is paid and the University is entitled to unlimited authorised and concurrent licenses of their chosen bundle(s). SPSS can be installed on-site at the University, it can also be distributed to staff and students for home use.

  • Higher & Further Education

    This is a cut-down version of the site license, a 50-user license usually sold to FE or HE Colleges or smaller academic sites. This works in the same way as the site license in that the license includes a combination of authorised and concurrent users as well as student or staff home use but the total number of users is capped at 50.

  • Yes, all academic licenses include student and staff off-campus use.

  • Yes, all licenses allow designated individuals access to telephone or email support.

  • No, they will need to raise their query with their IT Department or SPSS Site contact.

  • You will have access to any supported version of SPSS.
