Homogeneity of Variance Test Options

To help you get the most out of IBM SPSS Statistics, the Version 1 SPSS experts want to highlight the new Homogeneity of Variance control introduced in IBM SPSS Statistics Version 31. This feature allows users to toggle whether the Levene’s Test for Equality of Variances appears in the output when running Independent-Samples T Tests.

The Homogeneity of Variance test is important because it checks whether the assumption of equal variances holds between groups, a key requirement for valid t-test results.
